1 Live Plant Northern Spicebush Lindera benzoin 6 Inch Tall Shrub

Northern Spicebush is a deciduous woodland shrub native to eastern North America, valued for its early-season yellow-green blooms, bright green foliage, and glossy red fruit that ripens in autumn. This one-year-old bare root plant arrives at approximately 6 inches tall, ready to establish in a suitable garden or naturalized setting.
Its aromatic leaves and twigs have a long tradition of use in teas, potpourris, and seasonal arrangements, while the dense branching habit provides cover and foraging interest for wildlife. Spicebush works well in shade gardens, rain gardens, woodland borders, and native plant landscapes, offering multi-season appeal from spring flowers to fall color and colorful fruit.
