1 Live Plant Black Alder Tree 12" Bare Root Alnus glutinosa

Black Alder is a deciduous tree appreciated for its fast growth, glossy rounded leaves, and adaptability to wet sites. Its tolerant nature makes it a useful choice for naturalized plantings and challenging landscape spots.

Black Alder suits specimen planting, windbreaks, and moist borders. It performs well near ponds and streams, fixing nitrogen in the soil and producing catkins in early spring. Foliage stays clean green through summer before turning subtle yellow.
