1 Live Plant Arapaho Thornless Blackberry Rubus fruticosus Starter Plug

Arapaho Thornless Blackberry is a self-pollinating, erect-growing blackberry variety prized for its smooth, thornless canes and early-season fruit. Its compact, upright habit makes it a manageable choice for home gardens, raised beds, and large containers where space is limited and easy picking is valued. The plants arrive as starter plugs, ready to establish in the garden and begin producing within the first season or two under suitable conditions.

The berries are firm, sweet, and well-suited to fresh eating, baking, jams, and freezing. The thornless canes simplify pruning and harvest, while the erect growth means less need for elaborate trellising compared to trailing types. Plant in full sun with consistent moisture for best fruit development. Fertilize lightly in spring and renew mulch annually to support steady growth and productivity.
