1 Live Plant April Dawn Camellia Japonica Starter Plant 4L

April Dawn Camellia Japonica is a cold-hardy evergreen shrub prized for its formal double blooms that open in soft pink and white variegation during the cooler months. This starter plant ships in a 4L container, offering a well-established root system ready to settle into the garden or a large patio pot. Its glossy dark foliage and upright habit make it a dependable year-round structural plant for borders, hedges, and woodland-style plantings.

Grow April Dawn as a specimen shrub, a flowering hedge, or a container feature on a sheltered patio. The blooms appear through late winter and early spring, adding colour when little else is flowering. It performs best in a partially shaded position with protection from harsh afternoon sun and drying winds, and it responds well to a light mulch and occasional feed during the growing season. Minimal pruning is needed beyond removing spent blooms and shaping after flowering.
