1 Live Plant American Hazelnut Corylus americana Shrub 8 Inch Tall

American Hazelnut is a deciduous North American native shrub grown for its ornamental foliage, wildlife value, and edible nuts. It forms a multi-stemmed, suckering habit that works well in hedgerows, naturalized borders, and edible landscapes, offering seasonal interest with catkins in late winter and golden autumn color.
The plant produces clusters of round nuts enclosed in fringed husks that ripen in early autumn, prized for fresh eating, baking, and roasting. It grows steadily into a substantial shrub and can be maintained as a hedgerow or specimen.
