You'll see this effect best right up at the surface nearest the light. I love to allow mine to float around aimlessly, as it only sends out the occasional \"anchor root\", and is easily displaced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs the name suggests, guppies, tetras, bettas and all similar smaller fish love to dart between and around the fronds. Delightful to watch!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere aren't really any specific growing requirements for Guppy Grass. A little light, meh water, and room temperatures are all it needs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI love this in my tanks as they are great at sheltering fry and baby shrimplets. \u003cem\u003eThey are also one of the fastest growing aquarium plants you can get.\u003c\/em\u003e Very similar in that way to duckweed. People buy this stuff just as a quick nitrate\/ nitrite solution. Once it gets going properly, you'll scoop out handfuls a week. And then.. *chef's hand kiss*... excellent water quality. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCan you tell how much I love this plant?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMine are grown submerged with minimal fertilizer and average light\/ room temperatures.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eAs I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there’s always a chance of harmless hitchhikers like snails or dwarf shrimp tagging along with your plants!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI personally keep several beneficial snail species in my tanks, including Colorful Ramshorns, Bronze Bladder and Pond Snails, Mini Rams, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm.
