It develops a rugged, ornamental character with striking thorns, making it a fascinating specimen for collectors, bonsai enthusiasts, or gardeners seeking an unusual cold-hardy focal point. As a true citrus species, it thrives in temperate zones with a distinct winter rest, offering year-round visual interest from flowers to fruit.\u003cbr\u003e\nUse these seeds to grow your own decorative tree for patios, borders, or as a low, prickly hedge. The fruits are highly aromatic but acidic, best used for marmalades, zests, or as a natural fragrance. Growth habit is upright and branching, reaching about 8-15 feet when untrained, and it responds well to pruning for shape or container culture. Seeds require a period of cold stratification to break dormancy before sowing, then provide warmth and consistent moisture for germination. Ideal for hobbyists looking to propagate a resilient, ornamental citrus.
