Its arching habit and colorful fruit make it a striking ornamental for warm-climate gardens, patios, and container culture.
Often used as a flowering hedge, screen, or specimen shrub in frost-free landscapes, Duranta erecta also performs well in large pots where it can be pruned to shape. It produces tubular blooms through the warm season, followed by pendulous golden fruit clusters that give the plant its common name. Seeds are small and germination benefits from warmth and consistent moisture.
Species: Duranta erecta
Variety: Golden Dewdrop
Type: Tropical flowering shrub
Plant_Habit: Upright to arching, can be trained as a small tree
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Well-draining, moderately fertile
Days_to_Harvest: Not applicable
Zones: 9 to 11
Germination: 14 to 30 days at 70 to 80F
Sowing: Surface sow, lightly press into soil, keep moist
Spacing: 36 to 60 inches
Notes: Tender perennial in cooler regions; grow as a container plant or annual where frost occurs

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_2ddc5007-fea2-4d9f-aeff-534b14194d1e.png?v=1791896690
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/5-seeds-duranta-erecta-golden-dewdrop-ornamental-flowering-shrub
