The blooms open atop tall, slender stems through summer, adding a light, airy texture to borders and cottage-style plantings. It is a dependable, easy-to-grow choice for gardeners seeking long-lasting seasonal color and attractive structure.
This plant works well in mixed perennial beds, meadow-style plantings, and cutting gardens, where its flowers and seed heads both draw attention. It prefers a sunny position with reasonably moist, well-drained soil and settles in readily once established. Seed pods persist into autumn for continued visual interest, and spent blooms can be removed to encourage further flowering.
Species: Belamcanda chinensis
Type: Perennial
Plant_Habit: Clump-forming upright
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Well-drained, moderately fertile
Days_to_Harvest: Not applicable
Zones: 5 to 10
Germination: 21 to 35 days with cold stratification
Sowing: Surface sow, lightly press into soil
Spacing: 12 to 18 inches
Notes: Attractive to pollinators; seed heads resemble blackberries

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_7d35cbea-5015-44a2-aa74-3fef8a11cec7.png?v=1791896683
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/5-seeds-belamcanda-chinensis-blackberry-lily-ornamental-perennial-flower
