Blooming generously through summer atop neat mounds of grassy green foliage, it brings reliable color and a tidy, upright habit to beds, borders, and container plantings.
This daylily works beautifully in mixed perennial borders, mass plantings, and pollinator-friendly gardens, where its long blooming window and easygoing nature make it a dependable choice. Each flower lasts a single day, but abundant buds ensure a continuous display across the season, and the dormant foliage dies back in winter before returning reliably each spring.
Species: Hemerocallis
Variety: Red Eyed Stella
Type: Herbaceous perennial
Plant_Habit: Compact clump-forming
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil
Days_to_Harvest: Not applicable
Zones: 3-9
Germination: Not applicable
Sowing: Not applicable
Spacing: 18-24 inches
Notes: Dormant in winter; divide clumps every few years for best bloom

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_26540673-da8e-4cc9-8428-9de35195697a.png?v=1791897544
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/5-bare-root-red-eyed-stella-daylily-perennial-hemerocallis
