In early summer, it becomes covered with masses of small pink and purple flowers, attracting bees and butterflies. This hardy ground cover is a classic choice for rock gardens, borders, and between paving stones, adding both texture and color to sunny spaces.\u003cbr\u003e\nCreeping thyme is ideal for ornamental uses, including as a living mulch or a lawn substitute in areas where foot traffic is light. Its aromatic foliage releases a pleasant scent when stepped on, and it performs well in dry, poor soil once established.
