It is a popular fruiting plant for home gardens, edible landscapes, and container growing, valued for its reliable yields and attractive, arching growth habit.

The berries are excellent for fresh eating, baking, jams, jellies, and desserts, while the thorned canes provide a natural barrier when planted as a hedge or border. These starter plugs establish quickly and are ready to be planted into a permanent location or larger container. Plants grow best with consistent moisture and good air circulation, and canes benefit from support or trellising as they mature.
Species: Rubus fruticosus
Variety: Brazos
Type: Thorned blackberry
Plant_Habit: Upright to semi-trailing, arching canes
Sun: Full sun
Soil: Well-drained, slightly acidic, fertile soil
Days_to_Harvest: 2 to 3 years after planting
Zones: 5 to 9
Germination: Not applicable
Sowing: Not applicable
Spacing: 3 to 5 feet between plants
Notes: Starter plugs ready for transplanting; water regularly during establishment

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_2098f29c-86dd-4909-9562-8bb406d48078.png?v=1791897553
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/3-live-plant-plugs-brazos-thorned-blackberry-rubus-fruticosus-fruiting-vine
