This upright growing tree or large shrub develops a neat, rounded canopy and makes an excellent choice for hedges, screens, specimen planting, and year round structure in the landscape.

The small white flowers of spring give way to colorful autumn and winter berries that stand out against the dark foliage. Kurogane Holly works well in mixed borders, woodland plantings, and container culture when given adequate room, and it responds well to pruning for shaping.
