Grevillea robusta adds a tall, graceful structure to landscapes and is widely grown as a shade tree, screen, or specimen in frost free climates. Its finely divided leaves and distinctive flowering display give it a soft, feathery appearance all season.

The luminous flowers are ornamental and held in showy upright racemes that attract nectar feeding birds when in bloom. The ferny leaves and upright habit also make it useful as a background planting or windbreak in suitable regions. Grow it where it has room to develop its tall, single trunked form and enjoy the textural contrast it brings to a mixed planting.
Species: Grevillea robusta
Variety: Silky Oak
Type: Evergreen tree
Plant Habit: Upright, single trunked, fern like canopy
Sun: Full sun to light shade
Soil: Well draining, sandy to loamy
Days to Harvest: Not applicable
Zones: 9 to 11
Germination: 14 to 30 days with warmth and light
Sowing: Surface sow and press into soil, keep moist
Spacing: 20 to 30 feet apart
Notes: Tolerates a range of soils and becomes drought tolerant once established

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_260cb21f-0ed5-45e5-9b76-dfac2f13e08a.png?v=1791898036
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/20-seeds-silky-oak-grevillea-robusta-fast-growing-evergreen-flowering-tree
