The tree stays naturally small and manageable, making it a favored choice for home growers who want generous harvests in limited space.

Use the cuttings to propagate your own Honey Jar Jujube by rooting them in a suitable medium under warm, humid conditions. This variety is ornamental as well as productive, with glossy green foliage and a graceful, slightly weeping habit. Fruit is excellent fresh, dried, or used in baking and preserves. Jujube wood and foliage add year-round structure and texture to edible landscapes.

Species: Ziziphus jujuba

Variety: Honey Jar

Type: Deciduous fruiting tree

Plant_Habit: Compact, upright to slightly weeping, naturally small

Sun: Full sun

Soil: Well-draining loam or sandy loam; tolerates a range of soil types

Days_to_Harvest: 2-4 years from rooted cutting under good conditions

Zones: 5-9

Germination: Not applicable (cuttings)

Sowing: Not applicable (cuttings)

Spacing: 8-12 feet between trees

Notes: Root cuttings in warm, humid conditions; fruit ripens late summer to early fall

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/il_fullxfull.7978316436_fhvh_3bdb6b5d-86e5-480f-beb7-eac6a5ddffdb.jpg?v=1791898485
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/2-cuttings-honey-jar-jujube-ziziphus-jujuba-live-plant-cutting
