The flowers hold their color and shape well, making them a favorite for borders, cutting gardens, and dried arrangements. Plants grow upright and bloom freely through summer into early fall, adding long-lasting color to sunny beds and containers.

These easy-to-grow flowers perform best in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating heat and dry spells once established. Use them in mixed borders, pollinator-friendly plantings, or cut and dried floral projects where their crisp texture and vibrant hue stand out. For fresh bouquets, harvest stems when blooms are partially open; for dried use, cut near full open and hang upside down in a cool, dark, dry area.
Species: Xerochrysum bracteatum
Variety: Golden Yellow
Type: Annual
Plant_Habit: Upright, bushy
Sun: Full sun
Soil: Well-drained, sandy to loamy
Days_to_Harvest: 75 to 90
Zones: 2 to 11 as annual
Germination: 7 to 14 days
Sowing: Surface sow, lightly press into soil, do not bury deeply
Spacing: 9 to 12 inches
Notes: Excellent for cut and dried flowers; blooms retain color and shape

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/il_fullxfull.7960148712_jz7g_7244cd94-41e1-4e44-ab05-d7af07d8fb95.jpg?v=1791899226
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/100-seeds-strawflower-golden-yellow-xerochrysum-bracteatum-drought-tolerant-cut-flower-garden
