Its generous leaves and dense form make it a strong structural accent for mixed borders, hedges, and container plantings in mild climates.
This shrub is grown primarily for its ornamental foliage and form, where it creates a lush backdrop through the year. It can be used as a specimen plant, a screen, or a filler in shaded to partly sunny garden spots with well-drained soil. Growth is generally steady once established, and light shaping helps maintain a full, tidy shape.
Species: Viburnum macrophyllum
Type: Evergreen shrub
Plant_Habit: Upright, rounded, dense
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Well-drained, moderately fertile
Zones: 8 to 10
Germination: Cold stratification recommended; sow 4 to 6 weeks at 65 to 70F after 4 to 8 weeks cold treatment
Sowing: Surface sow, press lightly, keep moist
Spacing: 3 to 5 feet apart
Notes: Best in mild climates; protect from harsh drying winds.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_a0272805-834e-4194-99fb-b9bee8fd55e3.png?v=1791896131
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/10-seeds-viburnum-macrophyllum-evergreen-shrub-ornamental-garden-plant
