Its fine texture and tidy form make it a favorite for low hedges, borders, foundation plantings, and containers. This starter plug offers an economical way to begin a formal or informal landscape planting.
Wintergreen Boxwood works well as a low-maintenance specimen, edging plant, or mass planting in traditional and modern garden designs. It responds well to pruning and can be shaped into topiary or kept in a natural form. Plant in well-drained soil and provide consistent moisture during establishment. Because this is a live plant, germination does not apply.
Species: Buxus microphylla
Variety: Wintergreen
Type: Evergreen shrub
Plant_Habit: Compact, dense, rounded
Sun: Full sun to part shade
Soil: Well-drained, loamy
Days_to_Harvest: Not applicable
Zones: 5-9
Germination: Not applicable
Sowing: Not applicable
Spacing: 2-3 feet apart
Notes: Slow-growing; prune to shape in late winter or early spring

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_f7cd1310-cb1c-4531-b1bd-52c8fde15a27.png?v=1791897419
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/1-starter-plug-wintergreen-boxwood-buxus-microphylla-wintergreen-evergreen-shrub
