This vigorous, upright shrub produces clusters of small white bell-shaped flowers in spring followed by abundant light blue berries, and it functions beautifully as a fruiting hedge or mixed border specimen in the home landscape.

The berries are excellent for fresh eating, baking, jams, and freezing, ripening in mid to late season over an extended picking window. Plants grow best in full sun with consistent moisture and benefit from cross-pollination with another rabbiteye variety for the heaviest fruit set. These starter plugs arrive actively growing and ready to be potted up or planted out once roots are established.
Species: Vaccinium corymbosum
Variety: Primadonna
Type: Rabbiteye blueberry
Plant Habit: Upright, vigorous, deciduous shrub
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Acidic, well-drained, moisture-retentive
Days to Harvest: Fruit ripens mid to late season
Zones: 7-9
Germination: Not applicable
Sowing: Not applicable
Spacing: 4-6 feet between plants
Notes: Plant more than one rabbiteye variety for best pollination

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_d6cafa1e-f7ca-4a39-a3c7-8902cb3b78b6.png?v=1791897366
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/1-primadonna-blueberry-live-plant-plug-vaccinium-corymbosum
