1-live-plant-yellow-flowering-fragrant-tea-olive-osmanthus
1 Live Plant Yellow Flowering Fragrant Tea Olive Osmanthus

Yellow Flowering Fragrant Tea Olive is a broadleaf evergreen shrub admired for its glossy dark green foliage and clusters of tiny, tubular golden yellow blooms. The flowers open in abundance and release a sweet, apricot-like fragrance that carries on the air, making this a favorite ornamental for gardens, patios, and hedges. Osmanthus fragrans is long lived and responds well to shaping, so it suits both formal and informal landscapes.
Grow this shrub as a specimen, in mixed borders, or as a fragrant hedge near walkways where the scent can be enjoyed. The blooms are traditionally used to flavor teas, jellies, and desserts in some cultures, while the dense evergreen habit provides year round structure. It performs best with consistent moisture and protection from harsh drying winds, and it may bloom heaviest in mild climates with a cool season.
Species: Osmanthus fragrans
Variety: Yellow flowering form
Type: Broadleaf evergreen shrub
Plant_Habit: Upright, bushy, rounded
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Moist, well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral
Days_to_Harvest: Not applicable
Zones: 7 to 10
Germination: Not applicable
Sowing: Not applicable
Spacing: 4 to 6 feet apart for hedges
Notes: Plant arrives in a 1 quart container; fragrant blooms appear mainly in autumn

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_cad385ac-fecf-4975-9538-ac9e37f435e2.png?v=1791897929
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/1-live-plant-yellow-flowering-fragrant-tea-olive-osmanthus
