This well-rooted one-year-old live plant arrives approximately 6 inches tall, ready to establish and grow into a productive berry patch, and is a rewarding choice for home gardeners who enjoy fresh-picked fruit.
Boysenberries are versatile in the kitchen, excellent for fresh eating, pies, jams, jellies, and desserts, and the plants also make an attractive addition to edible landscapes and trellised garden beds. The canes benefit from a trellis or support and generally fruit on second-year canes, so a little patience rewards growers with generous summer harvests.
Species: Rubus ursinus x idaeus
Variety: Boysenberry
Type: Trailing bramble
Plant_Habit: Trailing, spreading canes
Sun: Full sun
Soil: Well-drained, slightly acidic loam
Days_to_Harvest: Fruit typically on second-year canes
Zones: 5-9
Germination: Not applicable
Spacing: 4-6 feet between plants
Notes: Provide a trellis or support; prune spent canes after fruiting

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_d4b20d86-4328-4ae1-a609-ee6fb4d13d05.png?v=1791898116
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/1-live-plant-boysenberry-well-rooted-1-year-old-6-inch-tall-berry-plant
