This 2-year-old bare root plant arrives at approximately 12 inches tall, ready to establish in a suitable outdoor setting.

Its dense, rounded habit makes it an excellent choice for native plant gardens, woodland borders, rain gardens, and naturalized areas. The glossy green leaves turn a warm golden-yellow in autumn. Female plants produce bright red berries in late summer when a male plant is nearby for pollination. It works well as an understory shrub, hedgerow component, or specimen planting in moist, shaded to partly shaded locations.
Species: Lindera benzoin
Type: Deciduous shrub
Plant_Habit: Upright, rounded, multi-stemmed
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Moist, well-drained, organically rich
Zones: 4-9
Germination: Not applicable
Spacing: 6-10 feet apart
Notes: Dioecious, so plant both male and female for berry production

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0717/4648/6408/files/download_ec1c8337-f04c-4d3c-bb01-40729d4c9f17.png?v=1791897091
https://www.natesgardensupply.com/products/1-bare-root-northern-spicebush-plant-12-inch-tall-lindera-benzoin-2-year-old
